Carrot Halwa

When i was thinking to prepare something sweet and also wanted to make quick and easy one, then i thought Carrot Halwa by Lubna of Yummy Food. I learnt this recipe from her and i started preparing often in microwave.

I received a giveaway longback from Nags of Edible Garden. Thank you Nags for sending me the fragrance candle. So i thought i will post about this give away along with Carrot Halwa.

Ingredients
  • Carrot, grated - 2 cups
  • Sugar - 5 tbsp
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Ghee
This is going to participate in " MEC - Celebrating Bloggers " hosted by Jayashree and event by Srivalli.
Carrot Halwa
Method
  • Heat ghee in a microwave bowl for 1 min and then place the grated carrots and mix well and microwave high for 3 Min's. Stir in between.
  • Add milk, cardamom and sugar and cook for 10 Min's.
  • Garnish with cashew nuts and serve.
