Broccoli Stuffed Paratha


Ingredients
For Paratha
  • Wheat Flour - 2 cups
  • Water for kneading
  • Salt to taste
For the Stuffing
  • Broccoli Florets - 150 gms
  • Onion - 1, chopped
  • Green Chilly -1, finely chopped
  • Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
  • Ajwain - 1/2 tsp (optional)
  • Coriander leaves - few, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Method
  • Boil water in pan. When done switch off the flame. Add the broccoli florets, salt and leave it for 3 Min's.
  • Drain the water and chop the florets finely or grate it. Place them on a muslin cloth and squeeze out the water otherwise you cannot roll the dough.
  • In a bowl mix all the ingredients for the stuffing and keep aside.
  • Mix the whole wheat flour and salt in an another bowl. Add the water gradually and knead into a soft dough. Cover and keep aside for 30 Min's.
  • Then divide the filling into equal portions.
  • Flatten a ball of dough and roll it. Place the stuffing at the center, bring the edges towards the center and roll the dough gently by dusting the flour.
  • Heat the tawa, place the chappathi, grease some oil and cook on both sides. Repeat with the remaining dough.Serve with your favorite gravy, raitha etc....
Tip:
Reserve the water squeezed from broccoli florets for kneading the dough.
