Ingredients
- 100gms of Soya Beans
- 1 Onion, medium sized, peeled and finely chopped
- 2 Tomatoes, medium sized, finely chopped
- 2 Cinnamon sticks, 1 inch sized
- 4 Cloves
- 3 tbsp of grated Coconut
- 2 tsp of Fennel seeds
- 3 green Chillies
- 1 tbsp of Coriander powder
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
- few Coriander leaves
Method
- Soak the soya beans overnight or 4 to 5 hrs and pressure cook for one whistle or till soft.
- Grind together 1 cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, green chillies, fennel seeds, coconut and make a fine paste and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a wok, when hot add the ramianing cinnamon and cloves, fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the chopped onions and fry till the onion turns translucent.
- Next add the tomatoes and pinch of salt and cook for 3-4 Min's, stir in between.
- Add the ground paste and 1 cup of water to it and cook for 3 to 4 Min's.
- Add the pressure cooked soya beans to it an mix well and cook till the gravy becomes thick.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rotis/chappathi.
