Review : Black Dog Scotch

Recently I got an invitation for reviewing a Malt Beverage " Black Dog Centenary". This is first time I needed to write about an alcohol drink, therefore I thought to chose a known person for me who has an expert knowledge on beverages. From my side, I gladly provided my comments about the look and finish of the bottling and colour.  I would like to share the experience of that expert here.

Broken Wheat Upma | Pressure Cooker Method

Today's recipe is healthy one pot meal which has lots of vegetables, loaded with fibre, high in nutrition and low in calories. Its Broken Wheat Upma. I like to add lots of veggies to this upma, particularly sweetcorn to it, that gives a nice crunch to it. This is a perfect breakfast recipe, at times you can pack this for lunch when you run out of time. It literally takes 15 to 20  Min's to make, because I have prepared this with pressure cooker. I always find easy and comfortable cooking in pressure cooker. It fast, easy and saves time. Serve hot with coconut chutney or pickle. Try this recipe, you will love it :)

 Few days back I had an opportunity to attend cooking event "Meet the Chef" with Chef Aditya Bal at LeMeridien. This session was organised by the India's premier lifestyle channel NDTV Good Times to celebrate the NDTV Food Times Award 2012 ( Dec-3-2012) and also to celebrate it's 3rd year. This year NDTV Good Times celebrates the best food in industry by raising a toast to single most important ingredient that could make or break the fortunes of a restaurant - The Perfect Recipe.
