Mushroom Pepper Dry Recipe | Mushroom Recipes | Mushroom Starters | Mushroom Pepper fryrecipe| #simpleandyummyrecipes

Mushroom pepper dry - restaurant style recipe is a simple and delicious recipe made with button mushrooms, ground black pepper, etc., It is a perfect starter recipe and kids will definitely love this. This dish is also ideal for those who looking for a meat alternative.


Most of the vegetarians I know love mushrooms. If you consider yourself a mushroom fan then you must definitely try this recipe. Whether you are cooking for yourself or to impress guests then quickly jump into this mushroom pepper dry recipe here.

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

To Make Batter
  • Maida - 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 2 tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required to make the batter
  • Oil for deep fry
To make pepper fry
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Onion - 1, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Green chili - 1
  • Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder - ½ tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Few Curry leaves
  • Mushroom - 200gms, chopped
Method:

  • To make the batter in a bowl add maida, corn flour, pepper powder, salt, and water as required. Make a smooth batter with no lumps. The batter should be flowing consistency.
  • Next, add the mushrooms and mix well to coat the batter and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a wok or kadai for deep frying. When the oil is hot drop the mushrooms one by one. Deep fry the mushrooms until they turn crispy and golden. Fry them in batches and keep them aside.
  • Next heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, when hot add the chopped garlic and saute for 1 -2 mins on medium heat.
  • Then add the chopped onion, green chili, and curry leaves and saute until the onion turns golden brown in color.
  • Then add chili powder, salt as required and mix well and saute for a minute.
  • Then add soy sauce and ¼ cup of water and mix well.
  • When the sauce mixture starts boiling, immediately add the fried mushrooms and quickly toss the mixture so that the sauce coats well with the mushroom.
  • Add some curry leaves and saute for a minute.
  • Finally, add the pepper powder and give a good mix. Saute for a minute and switch off the heat. Serve hot.

Baby Corn Pepper Dry | Step By Step Pics + Video Recipe | Baby Corn Pepper Fry | Baby Corn fry Recipe | Simple and Yummy Recipes

Babycorn pepper fry recipe is an easy and delicious appetizer/starter recipe. A simple and crunchy fry recipe with minimal ingredients. This can be served as a side dish for fried rice and noodles too or with any variety rice.


In this recipe, I have not added any sauces to it. I have kept it very simple. The main ingredient in this recipe is pepper and it goes very well with the baby corn.
Also, it can be used as a filling recipe for wraps and rolls.


Ingredients
  • 250 gms baby Corn
  • 1 tbsp Maida flour ( all-purpose flour )
  • 1 tbsp Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 Onion, medium-sized, finely chopped
  • 1 Green chili
  • few Curry leaves
  • 1/2 Capsicum, chopped
Method
  • Cut the baby corn into bite-size pieces and place it in a bowl.
  • Add all the three flours, pepper powder, salt to the baby corn. Add water little by little and mix well to coat the paste with the baby corn. Keep aside for 10 mins.
  • Meanwhile, heat the oil for deep frying. Once the oil is hot enough, drop the baby corn pieces one by one and deep fry them till golden brown. Fry the baby corn pieces in batches and keep them aside.
  • Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a wok or a kadai. When hot add the chopped onions, green chili, curry leaves and saute till the onions become translucent on medium heat.
  • Next, add the chopped capsicum pieces and saute for 3 mins on medium heat.
  • Then add the fried baby corn pieces, pepper powder, salt, and mix well. Cook for 2 mins on medium heat.
  • Add 1 tsp lemon juice and give a stir and then switch off the flame. Serve hot.

Snakegourd Fritters | Snake gourd Rings Recipe | Pudalangai Varuva l Simple and Yummy Recipes

Many of them don't like this vegetable Snake gourd. In South, we always make kootu with them. Most of the kids don't like this vegetable at all. Do you want to make them eat this vegetable then try this snake gourd fry/fritters recipe. No one will be able to guess the vegetable when done this way. This is quite an interesting recipe. Do try this, definitely, you all will thank me because I have got so many compliments for this recipe from my family members.
Snake gourd fritters
Snake gourd fritters is a very easy recipe that can be prepared within 20 mins. The fritters are very crispy from outside and soft from inside. Trust me guys, it taste like a fish fry recipe. Serve these fritters along with rice and sambar, curd. You can also serve this as an evening snack along with a cup of tea.
Snake gourd fritters
Ingredients
  • 1 no. Snake gourd,  medium-sized
  • 2 tbsp Bengal Gram flour
  • 1 tbsp Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Red Chilly powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp Amchoor powder ( Mango powder ) or substitute ½ Lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying
Method:
  • Cut the ends of snake gourd and then cut into half. Scoop out the seeds from them. Cut them into thin rounds say about I inch thick and place them in a bowl.
  • Add the flours, ginger garlic paste, spice powders, and salt and mix well with hand.
  • Next, add 1 tbsp of water and mix it up. Then add the water little by little and mix it till you reach the perfect consistency. Mix well till the batter evenly coats the snake gourd rings. Cover and keep aside for 10 mins.
  • Meanwhile, heat oil in a heavy-bottomed kadai for deep frying. When medium hot enough drop the snake gourd pieces one by one and fry them in batches. Fry for 2 mins on medium heat.
  • After 2 mins, gently turn the snake gourd pieces and fry again for 2 more mins or till it turns crisp. Transfer to a bowl lined with tissue paper.
  • Fry the remaining pieces in batches. Serve them with rice or evening snack recipe for tea.

Chicken Pakoda
Ingredients
  • 250 gms Chicken, small pieces, Boneless
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Red Chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Bengal gram flour
  • 1 tbsp Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • salt as required
  • few Curry leaves, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • Oil for deep frying
Method:
  • In a large wide bowl, place the chicken pieces. Then add all the ingredients one by one.
  • If you feel the batter is too tight or thick, add one more tbsp of water and mix well the ingredients. Add ginger-garlic paste, chilly powder, turmeric powder.
  • Next add the flours- Bengal gram flour, rice flour, cornflour, curry leaves, lemon juice.
  • Then finally add the water and mix well the ingredients so that the batter coats well with the chicken pieces.
  • If the batter is too thick or tight add one more tbsp of water and mix well. Marinate for at least one hour.
  • Heat the oil for deep frying in a heavy-bottomed wok or kadai. When hot enough, drop in the chicken pieces one by one. Fry for 2 -3 mins in medium flame.
  • Turn over the chicken pieces and fry again for 2 -3 mins in medium flame.
  • Once cooked transfer the chicken pieces to a bowl or a plate. Fry the remaining chicken pieces in batches and serve hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.

Raw Banana Chips in 3 Flavours - Spicy Red, Masala Magic, Peppy Pepper | ( Step By Step Pic + Video ) |Vazhakkai Chips | Banana Wafers | Homemade Banana chips made easy | Simple and Yummy recipes

Raw Banana Chips - homemade banana chips made easy using a raw banana. These banana chips are good tea time snacks or any time snack, also can be served as a side dish for variety rice or rice with sambar, rasam, and curd.

Raw Banana Chips
These can be made very quickly and also very easy to make. They can be flavored in many ways. I have shown here in 3 flavors. But you can add more flavors using amchoor powder, turmeric powder, curry leaves powder, chaat masala, etc.

Raw Banana Chips

Preparation time: 2 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins ( totaltime:30 mins )

Ingredients

  • 2 Raw Bananas
  • ½ tsp Red Chilly powder
  • ½ tsp Garam masala
  • ½ tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1-liter Sunflower Oil
Preparation
  • Take 1 tsp salt in a small bowl, add 1 tbsp of water to it and mix well. Keep aside and let the salt dissolves completely.
  • Take the bananas and cut the ends and peel the skin using the peeler. Set aside.
Method
  • Heat 1 liter of oil in a heavy wide bottomed kadai/ wok.
  • When it is hot enough, turn the heat to low flame and start slicing half of the banana directly into the oil with the help of the slicer. Use a thin slicer blade and be careful while doing this.
  • Deep fry the banana slices on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Gently mix it, so that the banana slices don't stick to each other.
  • Once cooked slightly, add tsp of prepared salt water to the oil. Gently mix it. Be careful while adding salt water, it slightly splitters and bubbles but don't need to worry.
  • Flip them when half cooked. Fry till they turn crisp and golden brown. It will take about 8 - 10 mins to cook.
  • Transfer to a bowl or plate lined with tissue paper.
  • Repeat the same with the remaining banana. Do it in batches.
Adding flavors
  • As soon as you remove the chips from the oil, immediately add the flavors. Once it cools down, the flavor doesn't stick to the bananas.
  • To make Chilly flavored Banana chips add  ¼ - ½ tsp red chilly powder to one batch of fried banana wafers. Toss them, so that the chili powder coats well on all slices.
  • To make Masala flavored Banana chips, add ¼ - ½  tsp garam masala powder to another batch of fried banana wafers. Toss them, so that the garam masala powder coats well on all slices.
  • To make Pepper flavored Banana chips, add ¼ - ½ tsp pepper powder to another batch of fried banana wafers. Toss them, so that the pepper powder coats well on all slices.
  • Store in an airtight container and it stays fresh up to one month.

Sweet Potato Cutlet ( Step By Step Pic + Video ) | Easy & Quick Snack Recipe | Simple and Yummy Recipes

Are you looking for a simple snack recipe yet healthy too, then here is the recipe for you. Today I'm going to show how to make Sweet Potato cutlet recipe. This recipe doesn't take much time and it's enjoyed by all age groups.

Cutlets are a favorite among everyone especially kids. This recipe is extremely very simple, easy quick to make snack recipes, and also it is very filling for the stomach. Try this sweet potato delicacy and surprise your loved ones.
Sweet Potato Cutlet
Ingredients:

  • Sweet Potato - 350 gms
  • Fried Bengal gram - ¼ cup
  • Onion - 1, medium-sized, chopped
  • Green chilly - 1, finely chopped
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  • Amchoor powder - ¼ tsp
  • Chaat masala - ¼ tsp
  • Coriander leaves - ¼ cup, finely chopped
  • Salt as required
  • Oil for shallow fry
Method:
  • Grind the fried Bengal gram to a fine powder and keep aside.
  • Pressure cook the sweet potatoes for 2 whistles and allow them to cool completely.
  • Once cooled down peel the skin and mash it without any lumps. Transfer to a large bowl.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients onion, green chilly, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, amchoor powder, chaat masala, and finally 2 - 3 tbsp fried bengal gram and salt.
  • Mix well until it turns to a soft dough. Turn them into lemon sized balls.
  • Flatten them between your palms making them into patties. Repeat with the remaining dough. Set aside.
  • Heat 3-4 tbsp oil in a frying pan, when hot place the patties and shallow fry the cutlets. Cook each side for 2 mins.
  • Serve it with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
