Sweet Potato Cutlet ( Step By Step Pic + Video ) | Easy & Quick Snack Recipe | Simple and Yummy Recipes

Cutlets are a favorite among everyone especially kids. This recipe is extremely very simple, easy quick to make snack recipes, and also it is very filling for the stomach. Try this sweet potato delicacy and surprise your loved ones.
Sweet Potato Cutlet
Ingredients:

  • Sweet Potato - 350 gms
  • Fried Bengal gram - ¼ cup
  • Onion - 1, medium-sized, chopped
  • Green chilly - 1, finely chopped
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  • Amchoor powder - ¼ tsp
  • Chaat masala - ¼ tsp
  • Coriander leaves - ¼ cup, finely chopped
  • Salt as required
  • Oil for shallow fry
Method:
  • Grind the fried Bengal gram to a fine powder and keep aside.
  • Pressure cook the sweet potatoes for 2 whistles and allow them to cool completely.
  • Once cooled down peel the skin and mash it without any lumps. Transfer to a large bowl.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients onion, green chilly, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, amchoor powder, chaat masala, and finally 2 - 3 tbsp fried bengal gram and salt.
  • Mix well until it turns to a soft dough. Turn them into lemon sized balls.
  • Flatten them between your palms making them into patties. Repeat with the remaining dough. Set aside.
  • Heat 3-4 tbsp oil in a frying pan, when hot place the patties and shallow fry the cutlets. Cook each side for 2 mins.
  • Serve it with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.

Mix well until it turns to a soft dough. If needed add more fried bengal gram powder. Turn them into lemon sized balls. Flatten them between your palms making them into patties. Repeat with the remaining dough. Set aside.

Heat 3-4 tbsp oil in a frying pan, when hot place the patties and shallow fry the cutlets. Cook each side for 2 mins and till they turn golden brown in color.
