Boiled egg in Tamarind Sauce

  • Boiled Egg - 2 nos.
  • Onion - 1, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 5 cloves, finely chopped
  • Dry Red Chillies - 3
  • Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp
  • Tamarind Pulp - 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Heat oil in a wok, add red chillies to it and fry it.
  • Next add chopped onion and garlic to it and fry till it becomes golden brown in colour.
  • Crush the coriander seeds in a mortar and pestle.
  • Next add this to the onions and fry till the raw smell goes off.
  • Next add tamarind pulp and salt with 1/4 cup water an mix well.when it becomes thick add the boiled egg to it and cook for one min.
  • Finally coriander leaves to it and serve with hot rice.
