A very refreshing drink to cool down summer hot days - Watermelon, mint and lemon juice. It's very easy, quick to make a drink, a very healthy drink and helps in hydrating the body.
Whenever I prepare this juice I never add ice cubes or sugar to it. I always chill the watermelon slices by keeping it in the fridge for a few hours and then make the juice. Also, the fruit itself very sweet so that you don't need to add sugar. But if you like, you can add sugar.
Ingredients :
- 1 large bowl of Watermelon, diced
- 3 sprigs of Mint Leaves
- 1/4 tsp Salt or Black salt ( preferably black salt )
- Juice from 1 large Lemon
- Place the watermelon pieces and mint leaves together in a blender.
- Pulse/ blend the watermelon until smooth.
- Pour the juice/puree to a bowl. You need to repeat this for 3 to 5 times.
- Next squeeze the lemon to the juice and add salt and mix well
- Serve chill.
- Place watermelon, mint leaves, salt and lemon juice and blend till smooth and serve chill.
